Vinyasa FLow

Vinyasa flow comes from the ancient practice of Ashtanga Yoga. Hanan Yoga began it's journey practicing 16+ years of practicing ashtanga, creating discipline and space within the mind and body. Vinyasa flow is often called a moving meditation, focusing on breath, ever changing asanas through the vibrations of music. This practice is a great way to break a sweat, meditate, and find sacred space in a edgy, quick moving world.

Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let the sea resound, and all that is in it. Let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them; let all the trees of the forest sing for joy. Psalm 96:11-12

Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying sustained pressure  to trigger points in the connective tissue.  This process melts the adhesion; thereby increasing circulation and flexibility and allowing  for more freedom in your body.

Thai Yoga Bodywork

Thai Yoga Bodywork blends, acupressure, myofascial release, energy balancing techniques, and assisted yoga stretching.  It is different from other western forms of bodywork in that there is no oil used and it is administered on a floor mat with the recipient fully clothed.  It is so different from what we typically think of “yoga” or “getting a massage” that we describe it as having someone “do yoga to you.”  This therapeutic work provides relaxation while reducing aches and pains.
